Wife has a test and I'm driving. I'll have three day with nothing to do. Anyone from the area have any suggestions?
Thanks

I'm sure my folks would be happy if you two stopped by for a visit again!

Also, if want to make the trip again in 3 weeks, I'll be back out there August 10-23 for more surgery.  My wife will even be joining me this time.

Find someplace with A/C, and camp. Preferably with a view. The Monsoon is here and it is hot and humid. The storms roll in unexpectedly and are the main source of entertainment this time of year.

We had a nice downpour this afternoon. Everyone got up from their cubes and went outside to watch the rain fall. We're just weird that way.

Sunsets are nice this time of year.

1) Meet GarryOwen and tour his Calvary Arms production facilities.

2) Meet Mike Dillon and check out the Mini-Guns at Dillon Precision.

3) Tour Frank Lloyd Wrights' Talliesein  (sp)

4) Stand outside the fence, while laughing and making faces at Sheriff Joe's  "Tent City" inmates.

5) Rent a Harley just about anywhere and run over every rattlesnake you see in the road.

7) Find a comfortable bar with A/C and/or a good misting system and spend 3 days there!

2B) Go visit the McMillans and see how they make their fiberglas stocks, hunting & sniper rifles, as well as their 50cal rifles.

I spent a summer in Tempe a couple years back...

Check out Mill Street...
...Bars, and LOTS of Blondes from ASU, wearing their "Daisy Dukes"

Also, when someone says it's "monsoon" season, that means the humidity skyrockets from 9% all the way up to 17%.
They have outdoor A/C...Water mist spraying on you while you dine outside...
It's so dry out there, you could spit, and it would evaporate before it hits the ground...
The only stuff thats green, has a sprinkler system.

If you want "monsoon" weather, just visit SE PA in August...
Temp & humidity are the same...

98 degrees with 98% humidity [:(]

Air is so thick the mosquitos don't flap their wings, they just float...[:)]

Catch Diamondbacks game at BOB if there is a home game.  Might be a Ter-Mark gunshow or one in Mesa.  Drive up to Prescott and go to J&GSales and buy ammo!  Go see Bob at ASA and see if you can make him blow a gasket, Take pictures and post for us see!

That last was a joke to those who may take it wrong and start flaming.

Well, I got in at 10pm and it was a 100 degrees!!
I'm now sitting in the hotel with nothing to do.
Besides watch my wife and her friend practice for this big nursing exam. They have both been nurses for 20 years and this test is such bullshit.
The good thing is there is one blonde and one brunette in my room right now. ;)
Tomarrow I'm on my own. I'm thinking of going to flagstaff. Any suggestions?
