Did you try Sile in New York?  I think they imported the PO-18's in early 80's?  Not sure about P-1's.

Did they make this pistol in 30 Luger also?Does the mag and slide release interchange?If they do,I might know were one is.I dont know his name but he has had this gun there several times.Problem is I think it will be a while before there is another show.Can you post a pic so if I can see if it the same thing were talking about/
