Try turning off the dynamic menus in your profile...

Outside of that, I think the internet is FOOBAR lately, DNS services everywhere are going whacky and I bet some gateways are pissed off about it and suckin arse!

Outside of that our ISP may be freaky too since the last few days the entire ISP goes offline from the net (like their pipe is shot) and then after a bit we're back to normal...

Lots of things to consider when the internet is involved!

Well my problem right now is that things are FLYING for me... but some west coast based sites are a bit slow... so then it does stand that it's not site related...

The issue is that you could be across the street from each other, on the SAME ISP, and be routing differently to the SAME SITE.

Thats how things work, and if you go through some crappy gateway somewhere then who knows...

Try a trace to the site and past or email me the trace info... we'll see if we can isolate the problem.

Also would help if people would post their browser type and version, etc. (The same crap I always ask for.)

Doesn't matter if you're east coast or not, depends on how your routing is handled and which gateways you're going through.

I'm 2 hours away and I see the cw.net routers spiking into the 200-300s every few seconds... although it seems to be less frequent now.

It's all in who and where you go through to get to the server...
