These communities are very small and I'm surprised anyone gets away with this for more than a minute. They always claim to be SEALS, which is really really stupid as the SEAL community is the smallest and tightest of them all, other than Delta, which, of course, doesn't exist [;)].
STOLEN VALOR has a list of the Medals of Honor, Distinguished Service Crosses, and Navy Crosses from Vietnam. My name ain't in there. -- Chuck |

Working in a Military surplus Store I meet more than my fair share. I can usually spot one pretty quickly, and then I have fun with em. Of course, half the time there are some gfuys that are the real thing hanging otu in my shop, and they have even more fun.
My latest one was a guy claiming to be ex UDT before the SEALs were formed. He made a point to bring out the pilots survival knife that he claimed he was issued in Korea. He was not amused when I asked why his knife that was issued in Korea was Dated 1976. |

Last year some circuit court judge was exposed for posing as a CMH winner.
Funny thing is some minority group was presenting him with a black image award of some kind for being a Medal of Honor winner, judge, etc. Anyway some liberal paper picked the story of SUPERBLACKMAN up and looked into it for their own story. Their investigation revealed the truth. Then every other paper ran the fraud story. But I wonder how many raises and advancements he got as a CMH winner. |

last week the history channel had a story on the seals and 'hell week'. i was watching it and just kept shakeing my head. not only would i not make the entire week, but after the first day i'm afraid i'd be trying to walk to the bell. i would be the runt of the pack for sure!!!
