Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - US rejects UN motion to ban firearms.

I read today that the US rejected a UN proposal to ban all small arms ownership of private citizens world wide. The US cited the constitutional rights of US citizens to own such firearms as hunting rifles and handguns as the primary reason for the rejecting the proposal.

We should ban the UN.

Would a UN enforcement of such a proposal to disarm US citizens constitute and act of war?
