After selflessly laboring for many years in the service of the peoples of the world,I have now been honored by the United Nations Security Council by being unanimously endorsed to serve a second five year term as the Secretary General of the United Nations.

At the completion of this term, the position of Secretary General will have been filled an unprecedented fifteen consecutive years by a representative from the continent of Africa. My predeccesor, Boutros Boutros-Ghali, was blocked from serving a second term by the United States as he was percieved as being anti-American.

I, on the other hand, recieved the endorsement of the Honorable United States Ambassador to the United Nations James Cunningham and also of President of the United States George W. Bush.

I anxiously await the opportunity to serve the peoples of the world for the next five years and look forward to the changes that are to be implemented.

Thank you.

First William J Clinton, then Timothy McVeigh, (and of course all the McUzi wannabe's), now Mr. Annan.
Who IS this nutcase?

Mr. Jewbroni, I have gone back into the archives and read some of your earlier posts.

You refer to me as a "nut".

I believe this is a case of the pot calling the kettle black.

I have not brandished a weapon recently at anyone, let alone on a public road.

Thank you.

Yes, that is very amusing! Perhaps you would be so kind as to tell me what that gesture means?

I see it quite often while riding in my limousine in New York.

Thank you.

I am sorry, I was a little distracted.

My intent was to come here to continue my quest to enlighten all of you, my misguided brothers, to my continued efforts to unite the peoples of the world.

To bring all people together as equals throughout the world.

To eradicate hunger, promote peace and harmony, encourage worldwide growth and expanding prosperity to all citizens of the world.

To stop the spread of H.I.V./A.I.D.S. throughout the world.

And lastly, to put a final end to the proliferation of small arms and light weapons.

I now have five more years to acieve my goals.

Thank you.

Mr. Annan,

Would it be possible to hire me on as the UN Ambassador of good will to the internet?

Mr. Imbroglio,

I have also researched your past posts and, while I find most of them interesting to say the least, I have noticed a disturbing trend in many of your responses.

The existence of the United Nations is based upon trust. We, as an organization, depend upon the goodwill of other member nations, and trust all members and their representatives to abide by a code of conduct and standards that is acceptable to all the peoples of the world.

However, you seem to have a propensity toward the "womenz", and yet are quite unsuccessful in the pursuit, if your stories are to be believed.

I do not feel that I should trust you. Your stories of rejection are much too far fetched.

I suppose that it all boils down to trust.

Can you be trusted?

Thank you.

Dear Mr Koffin Annal,

You do know there was a reason why early man left Africa right?  Because the place sucks!.

If you really want to end hunger in Africa then I suggest you tell your people to freaking move to were the food is!!!

I don't know about the rest of the world but the UN is bringing the hard working Americans together....it's called GUN SHOWS!

And as for the proliferation of small arms and light weapons, You do know "IF" you do send troops here most will not go home at the end of their tour! How about this, why don't you come to my house and we will "talk" about taking my weapons. OK?

Greg out.

To the Honorable Kofi Annan,

Thank you for taking time out of your busy global schedule to visit this forum.  It is truly an honor to be able to speak w/ a person of your stature.

Like yourself, I share the goals of peace and equality of mankind.

I am curious, though.  Do you own an AR15?
If so, what will you be doing w/ it on July 9th?

In solidarity w/ the U.N., I plan to go out and burn my AR. I hate to put so much wear and tear on my weapon. But, anything for global unity.

How many rounds do you think would be appropriate, to be able to say that I had burned my AR?  1000, perhaps?

Sincerely,
Zippy [whacko]

Sir:

First, congratulations.

As a citizen of the United States, a member of the UN, I ask you a question.  The UN and yourself are committed to the removal of small arms. Correct?

Now, last I checked, the Constitution of the United States of America, 2nd Amendment stated that the citizens of the United States are guarenteed to 'keep and bare arms'.

So, you know my question then.

Also, you say trust is important.  I haven't looked at a list of who are members of the UN.  There are countries, as I stated in another post, that have very questionable practices on their own people.  China an example.

You may have the endorsement of the US ambasador and the President, but that is the 'political'/polite thing to do.  I know how some of the 'game' works.  But you do not have all of the support of the people of the United States of America.

Good day.

(Now that I've opened myself to attacks.....)

Actually, early man left Africa because man has always been, and will always be, searching for a way to improve his quality of life.

My hope is that all the nations of the world will come together and will seek a common goal of the betterment of mankind through the United Nations.

Thank you.

I applaud your gesture of burning your rifle and ammunition! Please burn as much ammunition as you can obtain.

My advisors tell me I should request that you obtain a burn permit from your local fire suppression agency and the Environmental Protection Agency and also that you burn the ammunition in a pit well away from habitation so as not to endanger your fellow global citizens. You may also be required to submit an Environmental Impact Study as the plastics in your weapon may adversely affect the flora and fauna about you.

I hope and pray that your actions will inspire others to follow your shining example!

Thank you.

The Second Amendment was written at a time when firearms were required to settle the lands. This amendment is no longer practical in the modern world. All of the indigenous peoples have been "civilized" or "tamed", and there is no real frontier in the United States, so, by extension, firearms are unnecessary in a civilized nation in this modern world.

And, as to having the support of all of the American people, it would be a most joyous occasion, but is not necessary to achieve the goals of the United Nations.

Thank you.

I for one am glad that the UN is honoring you with another term. Mr. Kofi Annan has helped save more lives than I can count and deserves another term.  The only thing we disagree on is that I believe that China should be let in to the UN and Mr. Annan does not, I just don't understand it. [smoke]

i believe that the american people are a little more resistant that you estimate. we will resist any forces that oppress us and our rights, as we have through out history. the united states is a country ruled by it's people not it's politition, and therefore we dicide weather or not firearms should be in the hands of private citizens. from what I have learned about the general attitude of americans is this, regardless of weather they own or even like firearms or not they become angered and rebelious when the threat of there removal from private hands. I would not suggest attempting to go forward with your plans on small arms for it will fail, no ifs and or buts. it will fail.

Uh, guys, I've read a few of this Koffe Anon guys posts. I think it's just some member posting under an assumed I.D. playing devils advocate, kinda like Imbroglio does(maybe same guy). I think he's just trying to raise awareness on issues concerning the U.N. that he's skeptical about and having a little fun. Maybe I'm just stating the obvious to many, and I'm sure some are just playing along and get the joke/intent, but I think some of you are taking his posts seriously and getting worked up over nothing. I've been suckered in a few times on posts by trolls myself (lack of sleep tends to make me a bit more irritable but I gotta get my AR fix).

Most of us know that.  I figure try to come up w/ a good rebutal (sp).  If it is the real person (highly unlikely), he should contact Goatboy directly then (as in email him a phone number that's at the UN).... so Goatboy could tell us it is HE.

Okay, now back to 'reality'.  It's good to have someone pull the chain evey so often.  Makes all interested parties start to think......

Good day (hee, hee, hee).....

To Mr. kofi annan:

I would be glad to change from being a libertarian to a socialist if you were to allow me to join your peace keeping forces and use your small arms to put an end to small arms proliferation. only the good guys should be allowed to possess weapons. all evil needs to succeed is for good men to do nothing.

I will now refer to myself as Drcnserf. i will willingly turn over my arms over to the experienced and professional members of a UN peackeeping force.
