I live in NY- today the big news was that
the County offices of Broome County
(I work there)will be
working from 8AM -4PM -with 30 min lunch-
in order to save money on utilities.

AC will kick in at 8am - off at 3pm.
otherwise - off .

Freeking buildings will get HOT overnight -
and weekends!

ALSO - we were informed that our local Utility Monopoly - NYSEG- has informed
commercial users that there will be Brownouts if they don't conserve - BECAUSE
THEY NEED TO DIVERT POWER TO NEW YORK CITY!!
