McCAIN RECALL AND RALLY INFO

National and local news media are all jacked up about the McCain recall
effort, giving it mucho prime time coverage; the recall was innocuously
started by two disgruntled citizens, and is now starting to snowball.
Requests for McCain rally and recall info have been flooding into my
office, and I'm not even part of the effort.  To stay current, get on
the AZRKBA or TUG email lists (instructions at the end of this report).

HOW TO GET ON THE ARIZONA ALERT LISTS

To get connected and involved
in firearms issues in Arizona,
a good place to start is the
Arizona Right to Keep and Bear Arms List Server,

This open-ended list has discussions and news of upcoming events.
To subscribe to the List, send this email message:

(note "listserv" does not terminate with an "e").

You will receive a "Please confirm" email from the automated listserver.
The confirmation helps prevent people from signing up strangers against
their wishes.

After returning the confirmation note you will receive a second
automated note from the listserver with some information related to your
subscription such as how to "unsubscribe" (it's as easy as subscribing)
and how to limit your mail to one daily note (called "digest" form).

Highly recommend you use the digest format -- each day's notes come as a
single bundle, instead of numerous individual messages that can clutter
your mailbox.  Some other options will be described as well.  You should
print and otherwise save this note for future reference.

Join the statewide dialog, get info you'll see nowhere else, learn,
contribute when you have something to say, make new friends, and get
active in defense of your precious rights.  Easy.

Join the monthly meeting of gun-rights advocates
for a great meal and shoeleather activism.

I would really love to sign that petition and help get McCain the heck outa Washington.  That would be the biggest and best symbol we could send to the rest of Republicans who tend socialist.

Senator John McCain Recall Update

The recall effort of Senator John "Bad Temper" McCain is under way.  I
received a petition in today's mail and will get copies of them made on
Monday.

Now, to the meat of this email alert:

On Saturday, June 30th, at 10:00 A.M., a "Complain to McCain" Rally will be
held at his Tucson office at 450 W. Paseo Redundo.  The Rally will last
approximately one hour.

To get there, if you are travelling north on Granada, you turn left on the
next street after Alameda (This is downtown just west of the Stone library
and city hall).

There is a parking garage on Alameda just west of Granada, so if you can't
find a place along the street, this would be your best bet.

I am hopeful for a great turnout.  I will have petitions available to either
sign or to take so you may gather signatures.

Gathering 400,000 - 450,000 signatures statewide is an undaunting task;
however, if we work together and we do it "en masse", it can be done.

But as always, it takes YOU!  I/we can only facilitate the effort.  We
CANNOT get it done without YOU.

So, if you can make it to the "Complain to McCain" Rally, please do.

Why?  Because we've had enough!  Until we send a loud and clear message to
politicians, nothing will change except for the worse.  Maybe this is what
you want, but I do not.  This is why I do what I do -- to prevent the worse
from happening.
