not that I'd know... no really I wouldn't know. I've had this laptop for about 6 months. so far I've had to re- install the video driver for win98 2nd.... not the best puter, but not the worst for $100..

It would appear you do have it set.... It's sometimes on by default, to do it's thing at late/off hours.. Works much better when it's in safe mode, but it'll just take forever if not, if you're using the machine. If you're doing ANYTHING on it, or any programs are running, It'll keep restarting over and over and over and........ well, you get the point, because things keep getting written to the hard drive. Just cancel it, and manually run it every few weeks in safe mode... it'll keep it nice and speedy like new  |
