Hello!
I need advice on Upgrading my 1911!

Which manual is best regarding detailed photo's handling full-stripping of the gun?

I am going to be replacing all of the die-cast parts on the gun (Import 1911) with [RED]Mc[/RED]Cormack drop-in upgrades.

Any advice from fellow shooters who have upgraded thier 1911's?

Thank you very much, and remember.
I am very, very responsible,
and very, very old.

Sincerely
The Old Man.

ROM:

I like Jerry Kuhnhausen's (sp) books.  It is a 2 volume set for the 1911.  Might also try asking on the 1911 forums...www.1911forum.com

mc cormick parts are not machined, MIM molded, just in case thats something that might concern you, they are used in the kimbers so it probably doesnt mean much unless they are the same price as a machined part
