Ok for my 200th post......... I wanna know what your favorite Johnny Cash song is.  For a man who recorded over 1500 songs in his life, there are alot to choose from!  I dont think i could pick a favorite but tonight i'll go with Cocaine Blues.

Folsom Prison Blues

As if there were any other choice.

Other Greats:
Delia's Gone
City Of New Orleans

I loved that part. I should find that on DVD. I liked the lounge version of "Down With the Sickness" in that too.

That's my favorite too. I only have it as a live version though. I want a boxed set with all of his songs. I would gladly pay top dollar for it.

Bad luck wind been blowin' at my back
I was born to bring trouble to wherever I'm at
Got the number 13 tattooed on my neck
When the ink starts to itch, then the black will turn to red

I was born in the soul of misery
Never had me a name
They just gave me the number when I was young

Got a long line of heartache, I carry it well
The list of lives I've broken reach from here to hell
Bad luck wind been blowin' at my back
I pray you don't look at me, I pray I don't look back

I was born in the soul of misery
Never had me a name
They just gave me the number when I was young

I was born in the soul of misery
Never had me a name
They just gave me the number when I was young

They just gave me the number when I was young

what song was this?

something along the lines of this

I saw a lone rider on the ridge
i pointed my rifle at him
the gun went bang and the man fell dead

something about him accidentally shooting a man and then having to go to jail for it.
