You know guys, I don't want to sound condescending... but don't you think there is a reason campaigns spend millions upon MILLIONS polling? It is imperfect, but it exists for a reason. It tells campaigns how to allocate resources, which states are competitive, which states are a lost cause... what message resonates, how well your candidate comes across on certain issues and which issues to avoid. Nobody is saying that the race is over. If you bother to read what I have said, what Paeber has said, what Renoste has said... to the man we have said that this isn't over, that we are on solid ground, but we need to close the deal. A defeatist attitude is as dangerous as a cocksure attitude, either one will get us beat. So instead we have an optimistic attitude that says we can win this if we fight hard, take nothing for granted, get out the vote, fight voter fraud and understand where to put our resources.
If you don't like the threads, don't read them, its really that simple.
