Which folding stock for the Mossberg 500 is shortest when extended?  I like the shoulder stock and pistol grip rather than one or the other, and figure if it can be carried and stored folded, all the better.  But I want the shortest one possible.  Thanks.

I've got an older Choate (? I think)metal top folder on mine. I like it a lot and I do like the fact that it's metal (steel).
It would make a dandy club if needed.

Yeah, it is difficult to work the safety with any form of pistol grip.  How does the Butler creek interfere with the slide lock?  Is it all the time, or just when folded?

How do both of these compare length wise with the factory synthetic stock?
