Larry,

Can you give us some info on this upper?

How long did it take to build?

It's semi auto and closed bolt correct?

Have you shot it a lot ?

Would you take my first born kid, wifes SUV and $5000 for it ?
(thanks for the Pics Larry)

Larry,

Please give some more details (ie, does it have an adjustable gas system, reliability, etc.).

If I can make a few suggestions...add a Picatinny rail to the top of the receiver, bring back the forward handgrip a bit, and (MOST important) get a Patent.

Keep us posted!

Can you get a postban model?

I thought AW's had detachable magazines, and a pistol grip. If a weapon is an AW it can't have FS, or bayonet lug, unless it was an AW prior to 9/13/94.

Am I close to right on this?? Bueller.....Bueller... Bueller??

If this won't take a mag it isn't an assault weapon therefore a FS is OK.

I think ???

Since links could be considered as a magazine, If you were to put a belt fed upper on a post ban model you could be asking for trouble ie: I would not recommend it!!!

Actually the belt for a beltfed is considered a magazine, therefore the AW ban of '94 is applicable.

Ok now the suspense is really killin me....

When will it be available?

And how much??

Got myself a bunch of 223 links and ammo ready for use. [:P]

Would it be too much to ask to see if you can make an adapter that fits in the mag well that you can attach the plastic box the SAW belts comes in. Now that would be a big bonus!!! [whacko]

I want one to put on my M16. That thing looks awsome. If I am right it looks like a copy of the M60 gas system. What about the feed tray assy? does it fire from an open bolt. I want more INFO!!!!!!

Don't hold your breath.  I'd be happy as pie if it comes out, but I doubt it.

What if you only link ten rounds or less at a time??? [:D]

I'm guessing that if you replace the flash hider with a muzzle brake or just crown it, you could still put a belt-feed conversion on your post ban gun, and be legal. Actually, I will bet you money on it. How else can companies like US Ordnance sell semi-auto M60's and M2's? Those are belt fed... I have heard the BS about using no more than 10-rd belts at a time... Yeah, right. Maybe in CA or at an ATF barbeque, but most here (and I know I would) would be linking rounds into the hundreds. Havoc says: post-ban belt-fed OK.

acually, yes. thats how it works. i guess if the links are preban you can link away, but if they new, you can onlt have them 10 rds long.

How can they tell the difference between pre and post ban links?

the box they come in are marked leo only

Only if there are more than 10 links in a box. [;)]

I really would like to see a belt-fed like this one get on the market.  So far, every proposal was just someone talking out of their a$$.  Shrike, the MG-34 upper, the RPD.  I don't know what the problem is, because any belt-fed uppers for under $2k would sell like hotcakes.  Someone put this thing into production.
