With the currency rates what they are, the prices have gone up, and Sako was never cheap to begin with, but you will be hard pressed to find a rifle with better finish work no matter what you pay for it.

I paid just over $900 for my 75 stainless synthetic in .300 Remington Ultra mag earlier this year.

The trigger is sweeeeeeet, and the bolt action is just butter.

The 75 in Varmint trim is pretty nice, but likely out of your price range.
