I think that we all need to cool down here. Take a trip to the range today, load some more of your pet load, clean your weapons, take your kids/buddies shooting etc. We don't have to forget the events of yesterday..they are still vividly burned into my mind, but I won't let blind hatred make me ineffective and useless from rage. Venting is normal and healthy, but IMHO I would rather funnel the rage to more productive tasks then blowing off with a keyboard. YMMV?

How's this for wisdom and insight?--
We don't usually discuss things posted in the Staff forum (actually it's a rule) but I think this bears sharing, as I am often amazed by the insight shown by my colleagues. I posted this:

I cannot figure out why it's so difficult to post "kill all the effing scum who did this!" rather than "kill all the effing Muslims on earth!" Geez--it seems some of the guys are overly controlled by their emotions.

And another Staffer (much swifter gent than I, obviously) replied:
No, they let themselves go out of control, due to their emotions. There's a difference.
The person who controls their emotions, and acts thoughtfully on them is formidable indeed.
The out of control, hyper-emotional person is s trivial thing by comparison.

I won't name him for obvious reasons, but I hope he sees this and takes credit, as I think it's pretty darn profound--he always amazes me with the things he posts.
Your post--

. . . leads me to believe you are a gentleman who is "formidable indeed." It's an honor to be associated with so many here.
