Think about all those blowjobs you'll be getting as the "interviewer".  Sweet.  Get about 20-30 hummers week one and then go find a new job!!!!

What's immoral about making tons and tons of cash?

I say go for it - if you don't like it you can always go back to giving boob jobs - or maybe have an epiphany one day while you're taping yourself banging some slut who came in for an audition, realize that you're capable of serving humanity in other ways, and travel to the Congo working for Doctors Without Borders or something.

Anyway, that's what I'd do.

You know why it sounds like fun?  Because it probaly is.

The Navy sounded "fun" to me when I was a teenager, some of it was and some of it wasn't.  A job is a job - you can either run it, or it can run you.

I'd do it.  Everyone knows Hawaii chicks (whether Asian, Islander, White, or Mixed) are the hottest girls in America, and they also appear to be among the most perverted.

When I was just out of college, my buddy worked for a guy that owned this shopping center and all the stores in it.  One was his liquor store, one was his fully naked BYOB strip club, and one was the digital publishing company he had next door.  My buddy worked at the digital publishing company, but got free booze and free VIP cards to the strip club.  I'd be there at least twice a week hanging out with the girls, and when it started it was a really fun time.  On more than one occasion I got to watch the girl/girl show they taped and distributed on their pay BBS that you could buy a tape of.  I met a few mistresses and had some pretty wild times.  Then the cracks started to show.  The girls would do too much coke or drink too much and have to be carried off back to the back, a job I had to do at least once for each girl who worked there.  The drug habits, the weird behavior, their inability to have normal relationships due to their messed up past, etc.  I just couldn't enjoy it.

Being in porn sounds like a great idea when your looking at it from the surface.  Once you get into it though, it gets pretty ugly.

Remember the Alamo, and God Bless Texas...

Go ahead, but don't come crying here when the jewish mafia breaks your legs for moving in on their turf

Why would you want to become a pornographer? That label will follow you til they drop your rotting carcass into a hole in the ground and beyond!

Your kids will be ridiculed, your wife, parents, dog, etc.

This is how the "porn" industry acted in my neighbourhood.  My letter to the editor of our local paper:

Dear Editors:
We are writing to express our concern with a disturbing new "business" that has been taking place on our street. Although technically legal, a home on our street is being used to film adult (pornographic) movies. I say technically legal, only because the production company using this home has the legal right to do so, if they follow certain rules and regulations. Unfortunately for our family and many other families on this street, the rules, regulations and professional conduct code has not been followed, leaving us exposed to numerous incidents which should not take place in front of your home. Loud, detailed, conversations about the "performer" who could not function, lude comments to our babysitter when she arrived to watch our child, or scantily clad women and men wearing their costumes while lingering in the front yard are not scenes the young children who live and play on this street need to experience. They had their chance to handle themselves in a discreet, professional manner, instead they chose to disrespect our families and our friends.
We believe filming movies such as this in a family oriented neighborhood is morally and ethically wrong. It is a black eye on a community that prides itself in giving our children a happy, safe place to grow-up. This should be a neighborhood of block parties, BBQ's and parades, not home to an industry that forces us to hide our children away with shades drawn and television volumes turned-up in order to shield them from something we cannot monitor or control.

I hope you don't or plan to have kids...

First, Learn how to spell.

Second, if you're not performing or having contact with any of the talent, disregard the repressed asswipes among us and their shrill cries of AIDS..etc...

Third, if YOU can keep control of a situation and make flaky bitches show up to "work" then you are at the top of the game. That's what it's all about, getting the product done, done right and having the goofy shits that you are forced to use as worker bees to do THEIR thing without being too big of an asshole.

Fourth, the one thing another poster wrote or rather, copied about somebody having a shitfit about porn being made in a house on "their" street. This relates to point 3, YOU must be in control of the situation. There are a lot of drugs and weirdness, and if you're in a nice part of town, using a nice home to make product, you dont want to piss off the whole neighborhood, so keep your sluts on a leash.. (Figuratively)

Fifth, STAY OFF DRUGS, DONT EVEN DABBLE!

You've got that right Lumpy.  However, I think maybe this line of work is perfect for Section Leader. He has already rationalized it by convincing himself that everybody does it.

Seems like a great idea since it's such a huge industry, but there's a lot of shit that goes down behind the scenes.  I wouldn't do it.

I'm no prude, but I wouldn't do it for many reasons.   The money may be good, but... even if you factor out the moral aspects, you still will be surrounded by a crummy(yea, my opinion!) group of people.  People (not just the "actors") with a lot more problems that "average" folks... combinations of substance abuse, mental problems, and lack of respect for society & others (me, me, me...) and what is considered "normal behavior".    You will most likely be drawn into situations that you would rather not deal with and will be affected to at least some degree.  I think it would be tough to maintain any self respect in this line of business.

I agree with Arowneragain and Lumpy.

KA3B's story is depressing and scary.  More than enough reason to run from that industry.
