I think instead of banning gays entirely from the armed forces,
we should have a special [red]Gay Millitary[/red] We could call 'em "The Pink Berets" [:)] |

Allowing a gay male in a squad bay and a shower with male troops is like allowing male troops in a shower with the female troops. I don't want some guy looking at me in the shower THAT way......just like the women wouldn't want me checkin' out their wares.....

I'm all for equality, privacy rights, and minding yer own business, but how can you have gays in the military?
For showers and latrines and sleeping quarters, what can you do? You can't put gay men in with each other, that's potential sex partners like men & women showering together. Putting them in with straight men isn't one bit better, and not likely to be popular. And you sure ain't going to put them in with the women. You going to build a separate barracks room and separate shower room for each and every one of them? |
