+1 For the Yaki! |

NY style (thin crust) pizza topped with pepperoni + bacon + chopped fresh garlic + oregano + LOTS of crushed cayenne pepper. Well done.

White Castle is great drunk food. Taco Bell also works.
Though, the BEST drunk food I ever got was from some random bar in NYC like 5-6 years ago.... A friend and I had deposited ourselves at this bar towards our "lets see if we can drink lower Manhattan dry tonight" tour. We were both pretty fucking drunk. We asked one of the guys behind the bar if they were still serving food, they said no...but we SMELLED the bacon that someone was cooking. We asked WTF, they told us they were frying it up for tomorrow morning's breakfast crowd. We asked them for bacon, mayo, and american cheese on a sub, and they said ok. Musta been a good pound of bacon on our sandwiches each, not to mention enough mayo to make a horse keel over from a heart attack. That was fine eating. |

Lots of responses, but none correct.
Patty Melt Plate from Waffle House is the correct answer. Edited to add: Sweettalk from a toothless waitress while negotiating a pre-hangover fog accentuates the experience perfectly. |
One of our favorites in college was thick crust bacon and meatball pizza oh those were good. |
Two eggs over easy atop a pile o' grits with either patty sausage or very crisp bacon and butter drenched whole wheat toast beside a pot of steaming coffee.

BTDT, thanks for the memories... "Bear Hunt", "Team Spirit" 88-89 Wrecked on Soju and "Their" version of Coca Cola!!!! Semper Fi |

Back in the day...
All time favorite was a 7/11 1/4 Pound Big Bite with Chili and Cheese. Heck it was one of the few places open at 3AM. |

[Connor McLeod voice]There can be only one:[Connor McLeod voice=OFF]
White Castles!! To bad they don't have them here in AZ, except for the frozen ones that don't taste that great. But come November when I go back to MO to deer hunt, I'm gonna hit that Whitey's right on Natural Bridge Rd. by the airport almost as soon as I get off the plane. (If it's still there) |
A kind of PIE? |

1) Two chili & cheese gut grenades from 7-11 ( with onions & relish of course ).
2) Anita's Breakfast Burritos ( A Great Tex-Mex joint in NoVa ) 3) Taco Bell |
+1 a nice helping of "BOPIS" over rice and some Shanghai Lumpias |
Denny's French slam
though, now that i live where there are white castles..... |
Pat's Steak, Geno's if the Pat's line is too long and it's -15 degrees.
With fried onions and provolone, not that cheese whiz crap. |

Cant seem to find them down south here, but White Castle is my vote. Nothing like a bag of belly bombers after a serious night of drinking. I used to live in New Brunswick NJ, and the pizza and grease trucks were always available for the partying masses as well. About the only thing I miss about that State. The food.

What is the greatest drunk food?
That frozen pizza that you threw in the oven last night and when you wake up in the morning your wife is standing there with this 5" dia. charcoal disc asking what the hell you cooked last night. GM Not that it's ever happened to me |
Denny's or Waffle House. I've never been in a Denny's sober.
Taco bell if you're in a rush. If you're in Arlington VA it's gotta be Mario's |
I don't drink too much anymore, but I'd have to say White Castles out of the local choices.
BUT back in college, I'd definitely have to say BURRITO KING. |
Oh man, I forgot about Anitas!!!!! I grew up in NoVA, and those things were good!! I think I'm going up there this weekend...maybe I'll have to swing by. |
Ask and ye shall receive, brother! Make sure you get SPRING ROLL and not EGG ROLL wrappers.

Steak...
Because I only really get drunk at this one place. And they have the best steaks in all of NM-it's what I always have there.....once a week. |
Big fan of the White Castle, but if you have a Steak N' Shake, go with the Frisco Melt Platter w/ o-rings and cheese fries, a chili 5-way with lots of pepper juice, and a chocolate shake! Perfect 3:30AM snack after you're thrown out of the pub!
(well it was good at 3:30, but when 8:00 A.M. rolls around, watch out!) |
you're all wrong.
I can't believe nobody mentioned... HOT WINGS |
Thanks, I learned something new. I guess I'll try bread dipped in bacon fat next time. I DO like bacon. |

Drunken food for me: Gravy and Biscuits and Scrambeled Eggs with Ham, Sausage, Bacon or any combination of the three.
