What about the rail gun that Ahnold used in that movie with Miss America (having a bad time with the brain cells right now...)?

CW

Eraser with Vanessa Williams I'm pretty sure.

Of course as stated many times since I cannot stress enough how cool it is, my favorite would be the M41-A Pulse Rifle from Aliens, which is essentially a Thompson M1A1 military SMG with a Remington 870 inside a SPAS 12 cage (original screen gun used pictured):

I also liked the smart gun though, which was a German MG42 machine gun (yes, they are most definately MG42s with motorcycle parts attached, not M60s or some other MG). One hell of a SAW (original screen gun used pictured):

A close runner up is Robocop's Auto-9 which was a modified Beretta 93-R (airsoft replica pictured):

The pulse rifle from Aliens, the Starship Troopers rifle and the staff from the Stargate movie (first one).

The hand grenades from Aliens were pretty cool. The light-saber is without a doubt the best sci-fi weapon.

I may have been the only person in North America to have seen that movie.  Even the projectionist walked out!

Don't feel bad Arc. I thought I was the only one who saw that one. I'm such a movie geek that I have it on DVD.

Oh yeah and the "hispanic girl" from Aliens was named Vasquez and the guy was Drake.

See I told you..movie geek.

How about the TR-116 Transporter Rifle.  Especially if the operator in the pic is willing to give some hands-on training.
Sees and shoots trough walls.

The bladerunner pistol is actually a Steyr bolt action with a pistol grip and some other bits bolted on.  Looks cool as hell.

The TR-116 is intersting, but I'd rather have a Heavy Phaser rifle as seen in ST: Nemesis fitted with the same microtransporter and targeting sensor as was seen on the modified TR-116.

Though not a gun.... perhaps the Multikinetic neutronic mine mentioned in ST Voyager: 'Scorpion, Part II'

Yield: 12.400.000 Megatons.....

I was watching The Terminator the other day and couldn't figure out what machine gun the other robot had in the future scene in that picture. Anybody know?

It has a Charter Arms .44 Bulldog underneath the Steyr receiver.
