Alien. Even though it is older, it doesn't seem as dated as Aliens.
Raiders of the Lost Ark. |
Yep, quite a few.
1. We Were Soldiers 2. Blackhawk Down 3. Saving Private Ryan 4. Full Metal Jacket 5. Platoon 6. Hamburger Hill 7. The Lost Battalion 8. Band of Brothers 9. Tour of Duty (not a movie, but I have every episode on video) 10. Bat 21 11. Flight of the Intruder 12. Sniper 13. A Bright Shining Lie 14. Red Dawn 15. Seige of Firebase Gloria 16. Top Gun 17. Iron Eagle Hmmmm, guess I like war movies huh? Add to those: 18. Tombstone 19. Wyatt Earp 20. Forrest Gump Yep, think it's safe to say I like movies with lots of gun play, explosions and things of that nature. I have watched each what seems like a thousand times. Yet I'll likely watch one on that list before the day is done. What is it about favoring movies you already know front to back over movies you've never even seen? Is it the fact you just stick with what works instead of taking a chance on something that might suck? LOL. |
I haven't seen the boondock saints mentioned once, WTF!
If you haven't seen it, get it. Also: first 3 star wars Cowboy Bebop 5th Element Dr. Stranglove Red Dawn Dune A Clockwork Orange Army of Darkness Fight Club Snatch Edited to add: American History x and again, The Boondock Saints. |
I must say I have to add "Payback" to the list. Strangely, every single time I come across it on TV, I have to watch it.

Bringing Up Baby (Cary Grant and Katherine Hepburn) Any Mel Brooks produced movie Breakfast at Tiffanies My Fair Lady Groundhog Day UHF The Blues Brothers Shawshank Redemption |

I think we can all agree on Black Hawk Down.
For me: BHD Tears of the Sun Army of Darkness Malibu's Most Wanted Orgasmo "Do you believe in Miricles?" (Doc.) Prefontaine |
National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation
this is Mrs B's veg-out movie. We've probably watched it in every month (not all the same year). "Yeah, last season he was a pixie-dust spreader on the Tilt-O-Whirl. He thinks that maybe next year, he'll be guessin' people's weight or barkin' for the Yak Woman. " The Princess Bride this is my veg-out movie. "You are using Bonetti's Defense against me, eh?" The Matrix I often skip over the slow parts, and, of course, watch the Lobby Scene a few times. "So whaddya need, besides a miracle?" Guys and Dolls Well, we need some culture occasionally. "Why, Mr. Southstreet. It is Lt. Branigan. Of the New York City Police Department." |
The Color of Money
Oh, and *hangs head down* What's Eating Glibert Grape I mean, it's not even really on my list of faves, but for some reason, whenever it's on, my wife and I get hooked into watching it. It's like when you keep going back to the refrigerator thinking something there will be something different to eat; you wait for something to happen, but it never does. |
Well, of course, whats better than watch retarded Leonardo DiCapprio running around and getting stuck in the tub while having a lazy fat-ass mother. Not to mention Gilbert...faggot! Great movie. I could also watch SWAT, Full Metal Jacket, Navy SEALs, and the Discovery and History Channel documentries on the AK, M16, Assault Weapons, Snipers, MP5, etc. Love them :) Oh, forgot to add Ocean's Eleven too! |
I have seenWayne's World SO MANY TIMES it's not even funny. I am still not sick of it.
#1 Band of Brothers... any episode... all episodes... the one where Bull falls behind enemy lines is kinda slow... but I've seen them all well over 30 times now.
The first time I watched Saving Private Ryan I cried like a baby at the end. Now every time I wach it I tear up big time at the begining and the end... reminds me of my grandfather. |
