Ruger SP101 loaded with five 125gr JHPs.  It rides in a leather thumb break holster, but just as often it is just shoved into my front pocket.

Usually carry on of my Glocks.  Sometimes a Para Ord P-12.  In the summer depending on how I am dressed, I sometimes carry a Makarov.  But I always carry.

Probably my SIG-Sauer SP2340 in .357 SIG or my Beretta 92FS with lots of spare magazines. ( I'm not a big fan of 9mm ).

Started out with either an H&K .40 USP Compact, or Glock 27, in IWB or paddle holsters.  In the summer I'd wear an unbuttoned button-up shirt over a loose t-shirt.  Just wasn't comfortable with only a loose t-shirt when using IWB holsters, as the weapon would print through the shirt.

Then I saw the Alchemy Arms Glock Carry Clip in the Brownells catalog, then not long after at a local gunshop.  It's a metal clip that extends down the side of the slide, and it's attached to that plate (you replace the factory one) at the rear of the slide that retains the firing pin.

The Carry Clip is the retaining device, so no holster is needed.  Along with the Glock's rounded edges it makes the weapon very comfortable and completely undetectable even under just a loose t-shirt.

Only downside is you really don't want to have a round in the chamber, as the trigger is not protected.

I find an airweight .38 S&W carried in the pants pocket to be the most common carry.  When going places where the presence of a firearm might cause some problem I will often go very deep concealment and carry a Beretta Mdl.21.  IMO most people carry far more firearm than they will ever be able to use in a CCW encounter.

In the past, I've carried a number of fine off-duty weapons: Beretta, Smith, Colt Commander, Browning, and Sig.  There is no finer concealable handgun than what I carry now:  Heckler & Koch P7M8.
Accuracy goes without saying.  Reliabilty?  No other handgun I've EVER owned has gobbled up all types of rounds (including light reloads) and continued shooting with no malfunction what so ever.  Ergonomics are near perfect for concealment: flat and small, yet still minimum power for a defensive weapon.
Those that know, use it.  primary sidearm for GSG-9, backup for Secret Service, silenced for SEALS in Pendleton, CA.  Enough said.

Although I really dig M1911's, I trust my life to my Glock 19. Fantastic little gun.

I carry a Kimber pro carry in a 10.00 uncle mikes felt type holster in the front of my pants with my shirt untucked and 2 10 round extended megair mags in my rear left pocket.  I have pulled it in defense from this comfy position nad im still here.  It takes alot of experimenting to find what is comfortable for you.  goood luck..........

Depending on what I'm wearing, either a Springfield Armory 1911 Mil-Spec customized for carry (beavertail, tactical safety and novak sights)or my Glock 19. Both ride in Blade-Tech IWB Kydex.

On duty: Sig P226 plus 2 extra mags. Great weapon, just not a great caliber.

Of duty: Primary carry is Springfield MilSpec .45 modified with George Gouger "carry melt", action job, GG refinish (which is beautiful!), Wilson Combat sights, Pachmeyer finger groove grips and drop in beaver tail grip safety.  Out of the box this pistol was quite accurate - so no accurizing was needed.

Secondary carry: S&W Mod 36 with special handloads - 148 grn hollow base wadcutters loaded upside down, velocity approx. 750 fps.
Deep cover is sometimes Beretta 25 auto, or if running to the store for a gallon of milk, just slip it into the front pocket.

Glock 23 in a skunkworks IWB Kydex holster 99% of the time.  When I'm in summer clothes and I have to look "neat" for my wife (ie.tucked in shirt) I carry a S&W J frame in a pocket holster.

PS:  If you guys aren't familar with Skunkworks products I highly recommend it.  I used to use blade-tech products, never again though, this guy's stuff is the smallest, most comfortable kydex holsters and accessories you can buy.  Everything is custom made, hell, he personally asks about your height/weight etc. to tweak the product during manufacture to ensure the best fit.  Oh, by the way, he also makes kydex AR-15 magazine paddle holsters.

I carry daily:
Kimber Compact Stainless .45 ACP w/Kimber night sights and smooth rosewood grip panels.  Cocked and Locked w/ 165 gr carbombs...I mean Corbons in a Fist IWB Holster on right side w/ two extra mags in Fist mag carrier on left side.  Held up by Fist belt and most of the time suspenders. Here is the real shame, hidden by a OD green vest from Cabela's.  I wished we still had open carry. I do believe it a violation of our GOD given rights to require us to get licenses and hide our pistols.  Well, that is food for another topic.

If you were crazy enough, you might try to carry an AR-15 with a backstrap and see what everybody thinks about it.

Though I have a lot of bigger toys they are too cumbersome to conceal most times. Basically I carry either a Seecamp (90% of the time) or a .44 bulldog when I feel the need for bigger.
I have a Star Firestar in .40 S&W and of course a 1911 (Gold Cup) but they are big and obvious  most times and they end up being car carries on trips. For me the bigger guns "print" too easily.
