Yes. A guy I went to high school with shot his father to death. His dad was drunk and beating his mom with a 2X4. Kid went into the house got the dad's 45 Auto, went out to the garage and shot his dad in the back of the head. The kid got 1 year in prison and 5 years probation. His mom succumbed from the beating while he was in prison.

No, but a guy I hung around with a few times in school, murdered an old lady, robbed her, and stole her car. I hope he's still in prison.

My high school sweetheart was abducted, raped, stabbed death and left under a pile of debri in a dilapidated shack out in the middle of nowhere.

She and her husband were selling a pool table and she agreed to let a buyer come look at it during the day while husband was at work.

After the piece of human filth killed her he went on a killing spree across two more states. I think he killed 2 or 3 more people. Piece of shit got the needle a few years back.

This guy was my neighbor for about 3 years when I was a kid, he is a year older than me. He was 19 when he killed a women with a piece of pipe. Beat her until there was no recognizable part of her face. They let the monster out of prison in 2019.

Not exactly violent murder, but my next door neighbor. He fell ill and couldn’t feed himself or get out of bed. Instead of getting him medical attention, The family moved his bed into the living room and let him starve to death in front of the whole family.

I knew one of the people murdered during the Virginia Beach Mass Shooting in 2019. Herbert “Bert” Snelling was his name. We went to church together. Worst part for him, he was the only non-employee gunned down. He was there just trying to do his job and do it right getting a permit. :(

He went to MI on business (salesman). Met a dude while having a few drinks at Chi-Chi’s one night. Went back to guys house, and the guy shot him in the forehead 4” away, and dumped him in the woods.1991.

School classmate. Disappeared without a trace on a trip home in her early 20s to visit her family, no body found.

Police are 99.9% sure they knew who did it and that it was probably a rape and murder by the guy,
who was a lawn maintenance guy that was obsessed with her as a teen. He died a few years ago
and never confessed. Never charged but there was a pretty convincing mountain of circumstantial
evidence that is impossible to explain unless he was the killer.

Back in high school in the early 80's, my two friends and I were cruising around and were on the town square, and saw a female classmate with a guy outside the hotel on the corner, hollering up to someone in the window. The next day at school, we found out her body was found out in the city park in the playground, and she'd been stabbed a bunch of times. We went to the police and gave our statements about seeing her, and they later caught the guys and found the knife they had used out in the park.

45-years ago kid in my high school got stabbed to death. He managed to stagger all the way to his mom's house where he died. They never found a suspect. The guy had apparently been working to break a child porn ring. 30-years later a guy confesses to the killing. It was over a disagreement for some small amount of money and drugs.

My step-grandmother managed a motel back in 1979. It was in a sketchy part of town. She lived in an apartment attached to the front office. Early one Saturday morning the motel was robbed. She and a maid were both bound and shot in the back of the head. Scumbag only got 60 years, which meant he would be out in 30. He died in prison before he got to 30.

A man around the corner from our house got shot to death gangland style at his gas station in a South Chicago Mafia hit.

His son was my brother's age and they were close friends. The day after the funeral the house was packed up and the family went into the Mafia's protection.

A few. Saddest one was a real sweet woman I knew whose husband had a mental break. While she was sitting in the front parch waiting for him to come out to head to church, he walked up to the window she was sitting in front of and shot her in the back of the head with a hunting rifle. He then went into the front yard and shot himself in the head but failed the suicide attempt. Basically blew his face off but lived.

Met a few.

Buddy's ex wife was murdered by a random dude who went through her shed found some hedge clippers kicked the door in and stabbed her over 100 times with the long ass scissor type hedge clippers.

We were sitting around talking about the evening hunt (happened Sept 1st opening day of dove season). He got a call and told us his ex was murdered and he had to drive to get his son from school where his wife lived.

When he got back he told us how shitty it was, his son was so happy to see him ran up and hugged him talking about how surprised he was and where was mommy...

Second was my brothers girlfriends sister. She was young 20/21 and breaking up with her boyfriend in his car. He pulled out a knife and started stabbing her non stop. This came out the same time the song if I die young came out. Everytime it played my brothers gf would break down.

Yes, a former classmate was gunned down by a mentally unstable patient in San Francisco. He had been my best friend's room mate. This was some time after we graduated. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Brother's classmate who became a family friend. Coming from a dysfunctional family, he loved my parents because he felt safe at our home (he told my mother this years later). Decades later when he lived in a sh*tty part of Vallejo he went to investigate a noise, got disarmed and murdered with his own revolver. It was never solved. RIP D. Mason.

An engineer I worked with was transfered to the Houston home office of our company....very nice lady and as sweet as can be....her husband was jealous of her, she was the money maker and he worked for Walmart....

He stabbed her multiple times in front of her kids and when the cops showed up, he ran towards them with a knife and they dropped him dead on the spot.

This news shocked all of us very much

This piece of trash went to the same school as me, his dad was a county cop. one of the bank tellers was pregnant and he tried to decapitate her after stabbing her and the other two to death.

When I was in the service we had women on the third floor of the barrack's, men on the second and first floor was company area and day room. One of the street thug soldiers raped and murdered one of the young female soldiers one night. stabbed her and cut her throat. he initially got away with it but was caught when he tried to rape another young soldier about six months later. last I knew he was still in prison. She had been my CQ runner a couple of times, sweet girl.
