My favorite kind of dog. The only reason I didn't get one is that Britneys are just more suited to the type of bird hunting I do in AZ. It worked out well though, I'm very happy with my dog.

Also have a schnauzer named Max, but I call him Roo, 'cause that is what he does best.

An interesting note...the Jack Russell Terrier breed got it's name changed on April 1st, 2003 to Parson Russell Terrier.

He's been trained to "smile" on command.  He's completely harmless.

His name is Bronson (already had the name when I got him)

My other dog is an akita but I can't get her picture to upload on hunt101.

She's a big dumb animal..... but with a heart of gold.  Plus, my 10-month old daughter is fascinated with her.  "Dog" (pronounced "Dah-k") is competing with "Dad" (pronounced "Dadadadadadada") for her first word.

That's my avatar over at awbansunset.com.  He IS harmless!  The only time he's dangerous is if you approach him while he's chewing a pig's ear!  Other than that he's a teddy bear.

What type of dog is that? It's a very beautiful dog, I seen a dog that looked very similar to yours at the last Indy 1500, wanted to stop and talk to the owner about it but the girly was complaining about wanting to leave.

Great Thread!
dramine's Dane & Ratter's Swiss Mtn Dogs are my favorites!
I have no dog of my own yet, but next year I will have my own 1st house (finally at 35)
and will be getting a dog. I always liked the Swiss Mtn Dog, but I've
been moving towards a black Great Dane.
Maybe I should just get one of each!

We got to look after Cowboy, on the left, for about a year.  He had a blast around our horses.

Rooty is a real cool dog too.  He goes across the street to the golf course and hangs out there during the day.  It's his "job".
