As you can probably tell because I didn't even think about having changed my user name since I filled out that form in January. I can prove that I was who I was back then though Now nobody go look at my final tally in the F1 Fantasy standings because that was decidedly less impressive Thanks again for setting this up and looking forward to next season! Quoted: You're right, the Ferrari reference makes it hilarious. View Quote Aside from people being amused by child abuse references, it’s a poor joke based on actual fact. Ferrari beat 8 of the 9 other teams, and Leclerc beat 18 of the 19 other regular drivers. Not even close to Ferrari getting beaten by everyone. |

View Quote Off-season made up bullshit. The Binotto decision was made months ago (when he quit speaking for the team). Ferrari generally announces these changes in early January. |

I'm in the middle of making the survey for next season.
Does anyone have questions they think would be good to add? |

Feel bad for Binotto. He’s being scapegoated. Of course Rueda still has a job though, and always will.

I didn’t know that the mind behind Ferrari current power unit , 066/7 super fast is a certain Wolf Zimmerman, German engineer that made the Mercedes’ PU that won 7 titles since 2014.
The guy rarely appears on Ferrari pictures |

Some good suggestions, keep them coming.
Right now I have 29 questions. Idk how many is too many but I could probably come up with 35-40. Edit: also, I'm thinking about upping the prize to a $50 gift card to Brownelles. |

I'm very very new to this sport, and some of the rule applications seem a little capricious.
Top 10 Cheeky F1 Innovations This video popped up in my recommendations, and now I'm wondering what an F1 car would look like if there were no design rules apart from 1: wheel-driven and 2: manned driver operating any mechanical electronic aspect of the car. Same tracks, same race distances, just run anything you can bring. |

Quoted: Feel bad for Binotto. He’s being scapegoated. Of course Rueda still has a job though, and always will. View Quote Maybe a little, but I think the biggest issue for him was him being too passive and not being an actual leader. He didn’t put his foot down when Leclerc and Vettel were crashing into each other, and didn’t seem to really do anything about all of the issues during this season. No one got fired or shuffled around, and he always seems to pretend there wasn’t any issue and just give generic responses when questioned about any problems. Maybe he was OK as head of the PU department, but he never seemed to fit into the team principal role. He didn’t seem the type of guy that would do what needed to be done. |

Probably some crash safety requirements as well. Active suspension and sucker fans, whatever. CanAm was very much like that. Very few rules though like everything else they were added to continually as innovations came. We have a Lola CanAm car that ran in 78, and previously as a F5000 car from 74-77. They basically just slapped some aluminum side pods on it, extended the bodywork over the wheels and called it a day. It is an absolute brute of a car but it's a great one. Pic below is old, probably from 2004 VIR but you can see the aluminum sidepods that were riveted to the tub of the F5000 car |
