Would Goatboy open up a one time Life Time membership for NickGunar to buy BushBandit instead? Of course being from Memphis, I do appreciate the St. Jude donation idea.

So excuse my ignorance.
Is a "case" of P mags a 10 pack, a 12 pack or just how many is in said "case"? Is a "case" defined as the large manufacturer cardboard box if so how many are in that? Also just how many $ USD would it cost to purchase said "case"? Thanks I |

So we've had THREE members donate significant money to St Jude's? That's freaking amazing
It's crazy how someone crawfishing on bet had done what nobody else could do, and brought us together. Even for a day |

The least expensive 100 round case I saw was $800. But I did find and link to a source that advertised 50 round cases for $450 + shipping that would satisfy the bet. $500 certainly stings a lot of people, but for most it’s doable. OP should suck it up and honor his misguided bet but I guess he’s going to double down on shitting on himself and having this stigma forever associated with his username. |

OP, you didn't owe the guy shit, imo, as there was no formal bet.
Then you made a colossal error in judgment and made this thread asking fucking General Discussion to be your jury. I voted in your favor but the majority did not. Bushbandit gave you a cheaper alternative than a case of pmags, plus you get to help out some kids dealing with serious misfortunes no kid should have to. Do the right thing and give St. Judes $500. |

There may be a very good reason he didn't buy BB a case of Pmags. That may be "won the lottery" type money to him. |

Seriously, go back and see for yourself. Attempting to buy his way out with a bronze membership was sleazy, in my opinion. It's like owing someone $10, and thinking that buying them a $0.25 gumball (that they didn't ask for) somehow absolves you of your debt. Shameful. |

To me, the decision rest with the caller. Op better be buying Bushy his memberships for life either way. 800 bucks is a lot of memberships. Not a one year we good now kinda thing. |

My three cents. I have conflicting opinions.
1. No bet. Typically, terms of a bet have either party have something to gain from the bet. Nick had no upside, except for maybe bragging rights. Without complete terms, I'd call the "bet" just shit talking. 2. My father always taught me that you should never gamble with money you can't afford to lose. In this case, it is ill-advised to let your mouth write checks that your ass can't pay. Shit talking has consequences. 3. I've devoted 13 years and countless hours to being on this forum. Whether anyone thinks it is a bet or not, there's no way I would be willing to trash my name or reputation over this. It would hurt, but I'd honor my statement and remember to measure my words more carefully in the future. |
