Love is a Many Splendored Thing. I couldn't believe the female lead as a Chinese woman though. Bill Holden was always one of my favorites even though he was a total drunk. Didn't seem to affect his acting all that much.

Easy mistake since when he directed it since Lester effectively shot two films at the same time when he shot The Three Musketeers. Needless to say the actors were not happy getting to appear in two films at once and getting paid for one. Much of the Four Musketeers had been shot during the original shooting.



The actors sued the producers since their work was used in 2 movies.  They won some compensation.
