I think most in this thread are simply responding to the question with whatever flavor of conventional wisdom they ascribe to without really understanding the full scope of the issue.

Most of the responses are based on "common sense" which for the most part has been crafted and fed back to us by various sources (both promoting some data while ignoring or silencing others), giving us the [false] sense that we've come up with our opinion or idea on our own.

Even the so-called "hot take" responses are nothing more than unoriginal narratives we have been fed.  Don't get me wrong, a lot are humorous but they are missing the larger, dire issue.

While there is some truth in many of the responses (hurr durr she's fat, wives need to satisfy their husbands and vice versa, just let people do what they like, etc) they all seem to be looking at things from only one dimension of the issue and overlooking the issue from a holistic point of view.


Regarding the part in red, coom brains* make up the bulk of the first group, but the latter group is not restricted to the owner of Pornhub or other sites.  The former group may be simplistic while the latter is much more sinister.  The latter group is also comprised of our Ruling Class Decision Makers and their minions who have been weaponizing porn against the population. This is the dimension which is not discussed and often ignored and overlooked.

Once you start to see porn being used not just as recreation but as a tool and as a weapon to target society and civilization, the other small brain coom brain positions seem naïve and dangerously simplistic.

I don't think pornography needs to be banned but I do think we need to have some serious safeguards to restrict children's access to it.  Maybe require a credit card number or drivers license photo (some social sites already require an ID photo) before allowing  access.  Just like the magazines used to be kept behind the counter and the movies in a special room to keep them away from children.  Requiring an ID or CC might also cause normal adults to pause before deciding to utilize a site.
