Quoted: Tottenham with a little luck today but 3pts is 3pts. View Quote Idk if it was luck as much as Wolves’ ineptitude in front of goal. Wolves dominated possession and had 3x as many shots. It’s just that most of their shots ended up in Row Z. Traore couldn’t hit his ass with both hands right now. |

I’m glad to have Lukaku. Wish Mourinho had never run him off. He reminds of drogba v Arsenal.
All that said, Chelsea looked boring and as if the team weren’t having fun. Every attack had to go to Lukaku first it seemed, and whenever anyone else attempted to shoot he looked irritable. I don’t like the looks of it, but we’ll see in time. I think we may have been given both a gift and a curse. |

Rebecca Lowe has the top four as:
Chelsea Man U City Liverpool. Anyone else have a guess? |

Quoted: Rebecca Lowe has the top four as: Chelsea Man U City Liverpool. Anyone else have a guess? View Quote After 2 matches, it’s throwing darts blindfolded but sure, I can see Chelsea winning it. The defense is as good as it was after Tuchel came in last season and with Lukaku leading the line, our top PL goalscorer won’t be Jorginho with 7 pens. It’ll be interesting to see how Werner is going to be used. When the lineup was announced this morning, Chelsea’s bench would be starting for 16-18 other PL teams. |

Quoted: Those 4 are so far ahead of the other 16 I think it's a given. I'd swap the Manchester teams. Liverpool is a wild card aging team wonder if they can stay healthy this year. View Quote Yup, our #'s 1 through 11 can win the league again. Our numbers 15-20 have to get in the mix, we're fighting for Europe again. |

After first do we really care?
ETA: United aren't coming 2nd. |

Quoted: After first do we really care? ETA: United aren't coming 2nd. View Quote Hell yeah I do. Hard to get top players if you're not competing in CL, and EL is a hinderance to making CL the following season. The difference between us and EL last season was a buzzer beater GK header goal, I don't to be anywhere near that again this year. You start to slip out of that top 4 with regularity and all of a sudden you're in purgatory with Arsenal. |
|
L'Equipe is reporting Cristiano to Man City since they won't pay Daniel Levy what he thinks Harry Kane is worth. If Kane plays Thursday against Pacos de Ferreira, I bet he stays.

View Quote Klopp is going to leave sometime soon too. He’s talked about it before, has no interest in staying for 20 years anywhere. The great carousel continues. |

You’ll never convince me they don’t warm or cool balls to rig the group draws.
CR to Man City supposedly happening so Man City and PSG just happen to end up in the same group. Suuureee. Totally organic. |

Quoted: What's the collective wisdom on how much Ronaldo has left in his tank? I mean, I know the guy is a physical freak, but 36 years old is getting long in the tooth. View Quote It’ll be interesting to see how, at 36, his legs hold up to the physical beating of the EPL. We’ve already seen this season that refs are letting more physical play go. He’ll probably take Grealish’s title as most fouled player. |

Also, thanks to @dphill and @ukjohn we now know @Agent_Funky is not dead But is possibly sad seeing the news today. |
