F*ck Jeffords! That spineless prick.
I hope to hell we'll be able to convince Zell Miller or Max Cleland to switch parties and screw that bastard out of the committee chairmanship the Dems promised him. I'll certainly donate money to his challenger next election if this ends up costing us control of the Senate. |

Note the part of the story that Jeffords meeting with George W. didn't go that well. The Press will say that this is a failure of his leadership abilities.
Meanwhile, Jeffords is being stroked by Demos, Press, and Pundits alike. I would say that 'wait until 2006', but the good people of Vermont have already elected Bernie Sanders, Socialist, as their sole House member, so I doubt that they're gonna punish Jeffords. When the great Phil Gramm bolted from the Demos, he RESIGNED his seat as a DemocRat and ran and won the Special Election as a Republican! Now, that's class! Eric The Hun[>]:)] |

While it sounds bad - someone who switches parties was almost certainly voting that way long before he ever entertained the notion of changing his affiliation. The damage was done long ago. Same for McCain. If anything, switching his party affiliation may cost him straight ticket voters and those who deceive themselves because he calls himself a Republican.

There is ABSOLUTELY NO CHANCE that zell miller or max cleland will leave the democraps. I know these pukes from Georgia. zell was the puke who first tried to change the GA flag ten years ago. They are NOT conservatives, just brilliant policraps who know how to get elected from Georgia.

Screw Jeffords. He was a liberal, and a socialist. We need to kick more of these RINO's(Republicans in name only).
I am not to worried about losing the senate. they were liberal anyway. they still have to go through both the house and the president anyway, and it really isn't that much of a difference. |

So...Senate under Democrat control, House and White House still Republican.
Net result: gridlock. Fine by me. The less gets done in Washington, the better off we all are. |
