My team is long gone, so just hoping for some good games this weekend.
I do think the Bills Chiefs game was the Superbowl and full expect Mahomes and co to win it all. |

Most importantly, will Jackson Mahomes release any new TilTok videos before next week?

Here's the thing: 1) Josh Allen has proven he's THAT guy. It's not even debatable, and I'll be very surprised if he doesn't bring a Lombardi to Buffalo at some point. 2) That was truly a game of inches. Both Reid and McDermott made major mistakes. Butker missed those kicks. Rousseau almost got Mahomes on the pass to Kelce during the 13 second drive. The coin flip happened. Etc. This game very easily could have gone either way with a slight tweak to any of those moments and then some. 3) That was one of the very best games I've ever seen, and it was certainly the best QB game I've ever seen. It was a cleaner, more professional version of the Chiefs vs Rams shootout in 2018. It's easier to smile about a loss when it's a regular season game, but try not to let the playoff elimination overshadow the show your team gave every football fan in America. 4) Don't forget to enjoy the ride. Your team was crap for a long time, and these are the good years. Don't wait for Allen and McDermott to hoist the Lombardi before you remember this is supposed to be fun. I know exactly what it’s like to lose like the bills did last night, it happened to us a few years ago. We watched the best offense in the league sit in the bench while the patriots ran it over and over and scored a TD on the first possession of OT. We still haven’t seen Mahomes with a high level defense like some of those Brady had or seen him with a great RB since Hunt decided to kick a woman while she was down. Mahomes contract is fairly team friendly for an elite QB so maybe they rebuild and he gets another window later in his career as well. 3-4 Super Bowls over his career would rank him amongst the all time greats, but 7 is simply an amazing accomplishment and I doubt he plays to 45 like Brady. There are also several great young QB’s to split championships with over the next several years..Burrow and Allen obviously among a few other great young ones. Their rookie contracts will end and it will limit their ability to put a team around them so their window is now also. Bengals are a hell of a good young team should be a great game and I’m not counting out the Rams to possibly win it all this year. It says a lot about that 49ers roster to do what they’ve done despite how poorly Jimmie has played at QB. |

Coaching influenced the outcome, but it certainly did not determine the outcome. 1%? Yeah, I'm not buying that. Have a kickoff to about the 10 yard line that forces the Chiefs to return it. That would burn about 5 seconds (maybe more) leaving Mahomes with about 8 seconds. That doesn't guarantee a win, but the Chiefs would not have been able to run the same plays that they did. And that doesn't even take into account the Bills seemingly protecting the sidelines even though there was only 13 seconds left and the Chiefs had 2 or 3 timeouts. |
