Anybody know a gunsmith in the Pittsburgh area (SW PA) who will permanantly mount a muzzle brake on an upper?  I've called everybody in the Pittsburgh yellow pages listed as a gunsmith and NOBODY will do it.  In most cases, not only will they not do it, they want to give me (incorrect)lectures about the law.  I'd like to give the business to somebody local, but it looks an awful lot like I am just going to end up shipping the upper to Bushmaster and have them do it.

Just called Al's Custom.  He said he wouldn't do it because it would "destroy the accuracy."  Apparently, PA gunsmiths have a deep seated need to starve.

There is a gunsmith over here in ohio that i think could do it. He is about a half hour drive from the Ohio river near Barnsville. anyway here is the number if you need it

Ray's a great guy to deal with and can do all sorts of machining & welding.  I've seen some of his supressed Ruger MKII's and the work was excellent.
