Damn.....I didn’t do that part of the equation. Looks like I’ve got another 5 good years before it goes to hell in a hand basket.

My now early teen daughter was born when my wife was 48.
So, yeah, right there with you. Somedays it is still unclear if any of us will make it out alive. |

This whole thread is enlightening. I’m in the same boat. Me 45, wife 41, daughter 4.
I thought I was the only one dumb enough to have a kid this late in life. I now know why I see so many men wandering around like zombies with that please help me look. |

Wife is 61, youngest daughter is 21. I survived it, and life is wonderful on the other side of the puberty/menopause hump.
Hang in there, OP. It gets better. Much better. |

My youngest daughter is non verbal autistic. I do not look forward to her starting her period.

One more reason I'm glad I don't have kids. No worrying about such things.

I barely survived the last few minutes. Just drinking my coffee, catching up on shit posts and I start laughing at the comments in this thread... "Whatcha laughing at?" she says as she walks up behind me.... |

There is a reason we didn’t treat women as adults in the past, it’s to give men and society the tools to deal with female emotional swings.
My wife is pre menopausal, but I have already told her she will need to get on hormone replacement. I had testicular failure 11 years ago and have been on testosterone replacement, she will have to get her hormones fixed to keep up. It’s 2021, we treat women like adults, so they need to act like one and get their hormones and attitude fixed. |

Quoted: Then chances are you will get to experience the joys of pre-teen girl puberty and wife menopause at the same time. OMG what have I done. View Quote Yup. Had our daughter when I was 42, wife 39. She was worried about the whole having kids 40+ being a risky thing. So yeah. If all goes according to plan, I'll retire as she graduates high school. Then, in my busted down, old ass form, I'll have to help her move several times. If I live that long. (Hell, it's already hard keeping up with her, and I'm just 47. ) I already refer to myself as Uncle Grandpa Dad. |

The wife and I both decided when we were still dating that we would not have kids past our 20's. Our last son was born when we were both 29. We cut it close, LOL.
I made the decision after I thought about how much crap my parents put up with from me in my teens and me not wanting to be dealing with that at 50 or older. |

The average age of menopause in American women is 50, not 40.
Just another premise for frightening wimmins thread in GDverse. |

Daughter is 12... Wife is 46.
The two smartest things I ever did was build a 14 x 20 vault, and buying sound cancelling wireless ear buds. ...when they're going at it, I have a place to go, or at least a way to tune it out. |
