I think Remington makes a good product- wonder if there is any relation to the gun/ ammo company.

I can't use an electric razor. They just don't do it. I use a Mach 3. It's pretty nice.

I use a Remington. I much prefer a blade, but I have a dandy scar on my chin that always gets reopened. Doesn't everyone have one of those chin scars?

I like my disposable gillette shavers. Mach 3 is too expensive and doesn't shave close enough. That Mach 3 thing is a big advertising crock. Next thing you know, Schick will come out with a ten blade razor- stop the maddness!

I've got a Remington R872 that works for the mid-morning refresh. They say it takes a few weeks for your skin to get use to the razor - it took one or two shaves for me.

I used Remington for a number of years, but found the microscreen to be a little fragile. After a while slight rips develop in the screen, allowing the edge of the blade to contact your skin. Let me tell you, it feels like you're pulling hairs out with a tweezer.
I then tried the Braun and found it to be a superior product. Not cheap, but a better shaver. In the end I went back to my trusty Atra II because the electrics just take too long and don't shave close enough. The only time I use an electric now is during allergy season when my skin gets puffy and sensitive. My brother has a very thick beard so he uses nothing but electrics because shaving is a nightmare for him. |

I used an electric razor a few years ago, when late-puberty was taking its toll and facial hair hit the scene. I started using blades late in high school, and I haven't looked back since. I still have "sensitive skin", or what have you, because I'm young. Nevertheless, electrics don't shave for Sh*t anymore. Blades are the way to go, and will only get better as my face roughens up over the years.

Replacement blades become an issue.
I've tried Remington, Norelco, and Braun. My last 3 have been Braun. I can't use regular razor, just rip my face up too much. |
