FL wants them dead. Even made it illegal to trap them as pets. Just wait for the cold snap, they will fall out of the trees. Then it's start the riding mower or sand wedge.

Check your County, there might be a bounty on them like the Berms.

I once fell into a random rabbit hole of watching videos on youtube of a dude with some kind of crazy high powered air rifle shoot iguanas out of tree like a sniper for like 5 hours.

Thank you for posting this, I’d iguana hunt with her any day

Seriously though...those things are huge and I didn’t know they could swim like that.

My three nieces living in west palm area had a wonderful easter hatching of baby ducks in their back yard. One day while enjoying the fl sun watching their new pet ducks play...a large iguana showed up and promptly massacred the entire flock.

I would take the time to figue out how to skin then out and cook them just in case you need that skill fown the road.

I’d be willing to bet they were muscovy ducklings, another equally disgusting invasive species.

Before you start blasting away, I'd check on legality.  If legal and safe, then the only question I'd have is what round for Iguana?

In 1994 Mom and Dad moved to Cape Coral for Moms retirement home job.

One time of the iguanas running across the brand new pool cage
tearing up the screen was enough for my parents to buy air
rifles and kill the fuckers.

When they moved to Port Charlotte a few years later squirrels took
priority...

Kill every one of them.  Falling out of the trees is usually due to cold temperatures. A few years back Sanibel and Captiva Islands had them dropping all over the place due to the cold temps.

Use a shotgun.  Direct your fire such that the spray and chunks are propelled out over the lake to feed the fish and gators.  It’s nature’s way

When I lived in Florida there were quite a lot of rules and regs about 'how' you could kill them; some techniques could get you into a lot of trouble if you did it in a way they could accuse you of causing unnecessary suffering, or some bullshit.

You can check out pricing here: http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=74

Typically buyers don't want wild-caught/field-collected reptiles unless they're looking to bring new pure blood or genetics into their lines, and then they will be very picky about what they buy.  The mutts running feral in Florida won't count.

Once you get them they'll also need to be acclimated to handling and treated for parasites.
