As a former owner of an ACE store I'd rather forge my own bolts than ever set foot in one again. If ya'll only knew. I shook hands with the Prez at the "convention" and just a few weeks later I had my money back and they had a new store. It was a one sided conversation.

Same at local Ace Hardware, most of their electrical outlet covers and small components made in India.

I go to the specialty screw drawers and I was able to score the last 2, 5/16-24" x 2" and two lock nuts. $7.66....  The bolts are Taiwanese and the nuts are China crap. I am going to lube these thing the heck up can't take the change for them to gall up. TL;DR, damn you CHina Anti seize, it works far better than anything else on cheap stainless. |
