Take it to the range and shoot it.

Then buy another one.

They are cheap, how much is your time worth to you ?

How do you make a deep dish pizza on a cookie sheet ? Thanks.

Hey EMT, I don't think you will get it off. It's baked on good. I've had similar experiences, and nothing would get it off. Really, if it bothers you, use that one in the garage when you change your oil. You can get 2 or 3 of these from Sam's Club for $10... baker's quality. I have one pan I use for a drip pan in the oven. Sort of a sacrificial pan to keep the others from getting wacked.

Recreational olive oil is legal in 49 states. In commifornia it causes cancer...

You might scrub it off with an abrasive, but you will succeed in everything you put on it sticking from now on.
Discolored is nothing to worry about. It is seasoned, and you could have done a lot worse than olive oil.

I cook my pizza at 550 in the oven also - but on a pizza stone.

A stone would be a good investment for this.

It's not hurting anything. Why the hell would you throw away a prefectly good pan.

Why are you using olive oil? It's smoke point is around 400. That's if it's even real olive oil.
Try using corn meal and get a stone.

I have no idea without using harsh chems or scouring. Id let my wife do it, safest way. Try bleach it dissolves rubber it might work on oil turned to rubber.

And you read it correctly, the way the OP wrote it.  It just wasn't what he intended.  He should have titled it "Getting baked-on olive oil off a cookie sheet?"  The dash makes all the difference in eliminating potential confusion.

It takes abrasive scrubbing.  A lot.  As to using oven cleaner, grease cutters, etc., that's potentially dangerous from the potential of getting on you (serious eye irritation, chemical burns, rashes and inflammation)) or other stuff, having a good spot to let it sit might be a problem.  Then you've got to safely clean up from that.  Clean any food off and move on.

1.  If it don't come off cleanin', it won't come off eatin', DFWAIS.

2.  How the hell do you "get baked" on olive oil, let alone with a cookie sheet?

3.   representative digital images not loading.....

Put it in the oven and run the clean cycle.

Or just leave it, it's fine.

Scouring powder: Barkeeper's Friend, Comet, Cameo.  apply liberally, wet to make a slurry.  Let the abrasive do the work.  You actually can get better results working it with a wet sponge than a brillo pad or green nylon scrubber, this is because the sponge has more contact area to keep the abrasive moving -- let the abrasive do the work.  Should take about 5 minutes to scrub that down to a sheen, and not a lot of effort.

First off, either your oven is too hot for olive oil, or your oven was too cold for making pizza.

I read the title as:

(Getting baked on olive oil) off a cookie sheet.

I thought, wow, kids these days will do anything to get high.
