Just watched the Washington post video ( i know i know) about the capitol breach, the video was fair and actually shows the AA cop who shot Babbitt as she climbed into the window.
I was home and watching live feeds but didn't see this much detail in the moment. But I genuinely sat up on the couch and said to my wife " good god I think its Actually happening"
she agreed and we started to prepare our Bug out protocol as we live only 15 minutes away from the white house.
Here's the question and its strictly opinionated:
How close were we to the events on 1-6 to kicking off a civil war, boog, igloo, etc?
Please keep it civil, and mods if this belongs in the new political thread please move it, I'm fairly new here still.
Thanks in advanced for all your insights.
here is a link to the video in case anybody is interested in watching.

The vast majority of people there were there for legitimate purposes. Even those who breached the capitol grounds only wanted their voices heard by those they felt were ignoring them.
There were a few wreckers there, driving the destruction, and without the approval of even many around them. There are videos of Trump supporters bulling them off the walls or complaining to police who refused to stop them.
The whole assault situation was a false flag op organized by anti Trump forces to discredit the rest of us. That it worked so well stings more than a little. We were probably somewhat naive since most of us weren't members of the professional protestors class.
To put it bluntly, the nation was in ZERO danger of civil war on 1/6. Zero. Other things would have been required for the whole thing to go kinetic, and they just weren't there. Some people got unruly and broke some stuff, the cops murdered a woman, and we all went home.
Don't worry, though. Civil war is coming. Gotta wait for the boot to press tighter against the neck. Wake up the normies who still just don't get it. The new admin is going full tilt, though. Following the playbook like it's written in small words they can easily understand.
