I've been trying to downsize lately. Sold some guns, motorcycles, collectibles. Might sell a few tractors this year. I might change my name to notasmanytoysasbeforebutstill2many.

My username is shared with some other identifying factors so I would.

No change.
I've been TerryC or some variation of that forever, all over the web. Don't plan to change. I will bank it, though, in case of emergency. |

Mine was a hybrid of my ex and mine when I created it 18 years ago. Awe
Time for a change. That ship done sunk a long time ago. |

Hell yeah. I thought of a REALLY good one earlier today.
Damn if I can remember what it was... |

SweatingMyAssOffinTX How’s that sound? LOL, you almost die of heat exhaustion yet??? @SnowboundinNH Not yet. I lived in Arkansas for two years back in the 90’s. That was a lot hotter/more humid than where I am now (San Antonio) so I’m holding up OK. Mowing my lawn in July and August kicks my ass, though. |

No.
Mine is pretty generic. I don't see what good it would do anyway. You're username is tied to a number that will not change. I can see why some members would want to change their username, because they used part of their real name when they signed up. If I go to a site like the Way Back Machine, and search for threads, and they have old usernames, can I tie that to an account who changed their name? I'm not sure, but even in the archives here, after Goatboy purges every responder's name in a thread, if someone quotes that user, his old name will still show up. The thread author's name will still be there. I won't go into more detail about how you use the old name to find the new name a member chooses. You can't hide. |

Yes. I used my old email from a game
I was in a rush to buy something on the EE and didn't have time to think of some thing |

I picked mjohn3006 because mjohn is related to my name and at the time, I thought 30-06 was the coolest rifle caliber there was. My name is still my name. 30-06 is still cool as shit. But far from the best.
I don’t know what I would change it too expect mjohn10mm. But I use mjohn3006 in so many places now, I don’t see mjohn3006 not sticking with me. So why change it. |
|
No, because why break precedent??? I use the same name on every forum I'm on except for AK files. I left the guy out of my name.

Or perhaps FluffyMittensThunderCock. Coin toss really. |

Yep. I am going to totally recreate my online persona into someone that's cool and live vicariously through it.
