Every single federal inmate in jail for marijuana trafficking if that's all they did. (Should have done that BEFORE the election)
Every single person involved with the phony russia scandal. And most importantly every single decent person who was snagged by atf on a bullshit gun charge that shouldn't exist. I'd like to see Shane Cox and Jeremy Kettler be pardoned. Theystill haven't been pardoned. The Trump Administration has already denied their pardon once.
Who are they? Two Kansas Residents that made and sold suppressors after Kansas passed a Firearms Freedom Act. BATFE arrested them for violating NFA. Never mind the fact that Kansas' law was the gun version of the marijuana nullification laws that have been enacted across the country. The Trump Administration kept the Obama era order in place that told the DOJ not to enforce drug laws in states that passed marijuana nullification laws. Trump could have instructed the DOJ to do the same with firearms laws but he didn't. So I doubt he'll do anything tomorrow for them. Hell, all he has dome recently is signed an EO today expanding CCW for Judges and Prosecutors only. https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/executive-order-protecting-law-enforcement-officers-judges-prosecutors-families/ Judges, prosecutors, and law enforcement officers should not have to choose between public service and subjecting themselves and their families to danger. My Administration has no higher priorities than preserving the rule of law in our country and protecting the men and women who serve under its flag. Accordingly, I am ordering enhanced protections for judges, prosecutors, and law enforcement officers. Federal law already allows Federal and State law enforcement officers to protect themselves by carrying a concealed firearm, but the Federal Government can do more to cut the red tape that Federal law enforcement officers must navigate to exercise their right. The current threat to Federal prosecutors also demands an expansion of their ability to carry a concealed firearm, as allowed under the Department of Justice’s existing authorities. Finally, the Congress should act expeditiously to adopt legislation extending the right to carry a concealed firearm to Federal judges and pass other measures that will expand our capacity to combat threats of violence against judges, prosecutors, and law enforcement officers. |
