I don't remember any other president being in such terrible danger or having it talked about so much. I wouldn't be surprised if they put him out in the open somewhere without the bulletproof shield around him

Sorry, but this is not new. In my 22 years of service the POTUS visited my post twice. Both times, the brass made sure we either had no ammo or no ammo AND no bolts in our M16s.
Be honest, if you were the Secret Service, would you let large numbers of unvetted people with guns and live rounds near the POTUS? |
