I think the important part of this article is that they are going after the use of license plate covers which are often intended to make them unreadable by toll and speed cameras. I don't think automated cameras have any place in issuing speeding or red-light tickets. However, for toll road fast passthrough - yes, legit. Also, for 'average' people, the reason they are also illegal we are told is 'they can reflect the light making it hard for a cop to read the plate'
The fact that license plate covers are illegal and yet police have been using them with impunity all the while happily ticketing OTHERS for having them - fuck those police. What they SHOULD be doing if they find license plate covers on personal police vehicles is issuing them a ticket and suspending them for a week. |

However the license plate cover thing is totally legit and it's really telling that the police have been breaking this law with zero repercussions for years. Same should to for window tint darkness. |

Posting about sheriffs abusing their pistol permit funds and the selective issuing of them can get you in trouble.  So is asking them on public forums for an audit of these funds and telling them they really don't support the 2nd when they oppose Constitutional Carry.  |
