Quoted: Probably way too many View Quote Like anyone wants a NY Ar. Aren't those muzzle loaders or something? |

What if someone with an AK47 shot down all of your AR parachutists? That'd be weird.

Well considering this is a small border city, I'd say 10% to 20%.

Quoted: Probably way too many View Quote If you dropped the ARs on the little parachutes I’m pretty sure they’d come crashing to the ground. |

Only a small number would be turned in by some of the hair on fire crazy feminist antigumners that think they are saving the children - thankfully we don't have too many of those but we do have a few that are even louder and more obnoxious because they know there is only a small handful of them.
Unfortunately, we also have a huge population of "FUDDs" who wouldn't turn them in but instead would flood the pawnshops and gunshows with "them darn new fangled guns that no one needs anyway - Get yourself a real gun like a 30-06 M1 Garand "the greatest battle implement ever devised" or a 1911 in God's cartridge the 45-ACP"" And of course they would want Daniel Defense or high end Colt collector prices for them rather then used Palmetto State Armory prices (I'm ASSuming you would buy in bulk from an economy brand such as PSA if you were going to mass air drop). So yah, it would just mainly mess up the used market here for awhile from all the FUDDs trying to turn them into cash. |

ZERO. Thats the percent turned in. Of course, we don't live in yankee town.

Here, 80%. Liberal suburb with rich soccer moms and white collar desk jockies.
Quoted: In my little city the cops would hand them out to the citizens. Seriously, very pro gun. Now the next city over...different story. View Quote @star56 I wish you could tell us which one but don’t dox yourself. Would be lovely to live in a place that values freedom. |

College town here, northern NY, full of leftist college professors who apologize for everything, and literally pee their skinny pants at the thought of an evil rifle. "Be careful! That thing can kill people!". I'd bet half the population would lay down, cry and dial 911 so the police would pick them up, while the other half would be "Okay kids, when you see a parachute, drop mag, clear chamber, stash the thing in the bushes and mark the location. Dont waste time! Haul ass and go look for more!!!"

I can give you coordinates and I'll even pop smoke to conduct the experiment.

Probably none. I live in the country and nearly everyone is armed.

Quoted: Here? Probably 5 percent. Even the nut job libs own guns, and if the police got them, they would just take them home. View Quote Came here to say this. Might be a bit more than 5% but not much. The police would probably be trying not to laugh while saying "thank you" to those few who turned them in. |
0.0, unless they are those bastardized NY versions.
Those would be taken to the Sheriff's Dept to get a real stock installed. |
Single percentage....and thats just really old people who could careless about them

Other than a few Karen’s in the new money part of town all will be put to good use.
Excellent question! Around here I would say 20% would be turned in.
You would be surprised at how many Biden voters and assorted Karens would quietly take them home.
While some would turn them in, a lot would not. They would quietly stash them. Years ago there was a Simpsons episode where Homer got a pistol and yada yada yada. The part I remember fairly clearly is at the end when Marge took it to turn in somewhere and discreetly dropped it into her purse. You knew she was going to stash it somewhere. As for ARs? I'm not sure but I daresay if they dropped simple loaded revolvers they would be snapped up and taken home. A lot of the very anti gun Karen types would gladly stash a revolver because they realize we are entering troubled times. FWIW in the past couple of months I have walked FOUR, count 'em 4, women aged 58-73 through the process of buying a pistol. When you stop and think about it, for a first time buyer the system can be very intimidating. These four went through the intimidation. When you think of the people that would own one if it was cash and carry at the hardware store (like it's supposed to be) I bet the number of people would be astonishing. You have to remember that in troubled times people tend to stock up on things they would never otherwise buy. Guns included. |
Zero. But 20% would be on Uncle Henry's at $2500 within minutes.
Probably 50% in my town. In the country that’s just a few miles west of me, zero.
You can drop some in my yard, I promise not to turn them in! Finders keepers or something like that.
Little parachutes.....LITTLE PARACHUTES ?!?!?!!?!!?
Are you F’ing crazy man, you’ll need giant parachutes, do you even know how many boxes those ar guns weigh? You gonna kill someone!!!!!!! |
Depends what part of Roanoke. None if dropped in Northwest. The bedwetters of South would trip over each other to turn them in.
