Quoted: Semi-auto "subguns" are gay no matter what logo is on it. Congrats, you have a very heavy pistol. The gun companies ran out of shit to sell, so they foisted "personal caliber carbines" on the market with a bunch of horse shit about mag compatibility. View Quote |

Quoted: OP is not completely wrong. 9mm out of an AR platform is more about saving money on ammo, and/or being able to find ammo, for a short barreled AR, over getting the best ballistics/performance out of an AR. 10mm or .300blk are >>>>>>>>>>>>>> 9mm out of an AR platform with a short barrel. If you want to shoot for cheap .22LR >>>>> 9mm out of a short barrel. But if you want something with a really short barrel that you can somewhat afford to practice with, 9mm isn't a horrible choice if using 124gr HST (+p) or 147gr HST for SD. Still....the "ballistics" are the same out if the same rounds are fired out of a handgun with a similar barrel length. View Quote Ballistics don't determine shootability. 9mm ar isn't a replacement for a rifle cartridge ar, it's a replacement for a handgun. |

A muffled RDB upper with endo-mags on a RR is absolutely a gay old time.

Quoted: You are right. An MP5 is like a 30 year old 911. Outdated and overpriced. It's a nostalgia/charm appeal. I have a cmmg 9mm. I also have a g17 in a microroni frame. I feel they are equal. The g17is probably the better choice. Sidearm or carbine.

Preferable roller-delayed blowback operation, or gas operated if possible. Mostly polymer, with 7075/steel reinforcement for durability Using Colt SMG mags Easily able to accept a brace or stock Have a sub-$1200 MSRP. The Uzi pro is interesting, but not quite to my tastes, too small to be comfortable. Not to mention it looks like ass... |

It seems excessively long for the cartridge. Other than that, do what you want.

Pretty sure 9mm carbines & SMGs was standard fare in the military world over the last 80 years or so.
Shock troops. HRT. Special Forces worldwide. Evil Empires. The Good Guys. Sten MP-40 MP-5 & MP-5K Sterling Colt SMG UZI and so on. 9mm AR15 is a natural progression. |

Well in reality most semi auto PCC’s are pretty stupid except they are fun as hell.
Full auto sub guns have their place but they’ve largely been replaced by short rifle caliber weapons. Both a semi 9mm AR and a semi auto clone are pretty much silly compared to a 11.5” 556 AR or a full auto 9mm sub gun, but our laws being what they are, the semi 9mm guns are fun to have. |
