I went to school with a girl named memory, and a guy named Ben Dover, but he went by Jeremiah.
My 7th grade teachers name was Mary Tinkler I worked with a girl named Aries I worked with a girl named tequila I worked with a girl named Toshiba A friend of mine has a nephew named Charles Manson something and a neice named Aryan snow. A cousin of mine is named Pandora ivy, my youngest son's half brother is named Bentley. |

Honestly in college in my 101 agronomy class we had a Lisa Balls and a Bonnie Fuchs . We had a WWII German Prof and he refused to say her name.

I used to work with Sandy Beach. When she got married she lost the cool name.
My late FIL had a urologist named Dr. Waterman. In the late 70’s and early 80’s I worked at a bank. I opened new accounts and saw all kinds of doozies, but damned if I can remember any now. We had some weird customers too. One lady was rich as Croesus, drove a really old piece of shit car. She used to come in and ask us to zip her back zipper on her dresses.  .Another elderly lady that was widowed. Her hubby did everything for her, so she was clueless about, well, everything. She would come in every month with her checking stmt, that she’d written ONE check from, and had one deposit. She could not balance it. I tried to teach her... I gave up and did it for her. Moral of the story; don’t do that to your wives, even with the best intentions. |

Two sisters when I substitute taught in Baltimore: Portia and Portía, one was pronounced Por-tia(with the accent) and one was pronounced porch-a (without the accent). They were Irish twins and looked the same, confusing as fuck.

Might be spelling that wrong, but it was pronounced exactly how that looks. US-born foreign ethnicity of some sort kid in 7th grade. Indian maybe? Surprisingly didn't get picked on for it that I ever saw. Instructor when I was new at my job was Dick Farms. One guy in our class started calling him Penis Plantation. LTCR I worked with was a small black lady, first name Precious, middle name Snow White. Precious Snow White McQuade. |

Turns out, aside from super long names, it's common in Thailand to have a short informal nickname (in Thai). Don't recall what the nickname translated to in English. |

Shortly after she told me, while I was attempting to digest the name, both her and her cube neighbor began attacking me and making fun of my name. This was the first time I realized I was what wrong with America. It was somewhere around '91 - '93.
