You can't fight if you aren't in the arena.
Whats the point of being in a no-topic forum where everybody thinks the same thing? While twitter is censored at least you can argue with people on the other side and other people can see that argument. That is the only value to online discussion anyway (besides specific-topic forums) |

ETA: Looks like a YouTube replacement. We really need a Facebook replacement. It doesn't have to be explicitly conservative, it just needs to have actual free speech (It needs to be conservative). |

Twitter censors people but that is still where most information surfaces right now. Most of the breaking threads here on Arfcom point back to Twitter. What happens if Arfcom got shutdown or crashed? It has happened before, then what do you do? Arfcom's format is terrible to quickly scan a ton of information posted by different people. That is what makes Twitter and Parler great, you just constantly scroll and new information from different people displays. |
