This belt comes with an inner liner that might work for those who are looking for one. The whole kit is cheap, and would be good enough for a minimalist bump in the night belt.

The belt and mag carriers are from Mean Gene leather. The belt is their reinforced gun belt. Took a little over a month to get them. The holster is an copy of a old 1911 holster and the knife is a Bark River.
I need to see if Gene can make a tourniquet pouch. |

On another note, this thread is hurting my wallet. I thought I had my set up figured out and now I keep ordering things. It really sucks when it looks cool and then you try it and hate it.
Like my Negative Cant Plate and Equipment Mount, seems like a great idea... I hate it. Love the cant to the holster but it sits funny for me and I really don't like the TQ holder on the front of the holster. With a Sig 320 with a light and Red dot, it's just too much crap hanging off the UBL. But, I'm also placing an order for a Wilder Tactical belt pad that looks better than the HSGI option. On that note, does anyone make a pad that attaches to the back of a UBL? When I'm running it hits me funny and rubs. You guys are going to make me go broke. ETA: Does the True North adapter hold the holster closer to your body? With the QLS attached to the UBL it makes the holster stand out farther than I really want it to be. It made a few obstacles tough to get around/through at Waco Biathlon last summer. Shit, more money. |

View Quote The 6390RDS just means its a red dot compatible ALS holster on a midride UBL, it does not indicate which model/s it will accept. A 6390RDS for a Glock 34 will not accept a Staccato. The second number is which gun the holster is for. I believe the third number is a combination of right or left handed and a color code, but I may be incorrect about this. Edit: regarding your second edit, you are incorrect. Each sub-model is made for a specific model of gun. Any cross compatibility is either due to design similarities or is a fluke. For example, with Glocks there are families that are all the same except for muzzle length. With these any shorter Glock in the same family will fit in a longer holster; so a 34 holster can accomodate a 34, 17, or 19. The cross compatibility between some Glock holsters with CZ P07, P09, or P10s is just a fluke and is because the CZs have very similar dimensions to Glocks. |

Quoted: G34 holsters fit the 19 and 17. View Quote A thought just struck me. Is this the same for the M&P models? I picked up an M&P9 M2.0 CORE (red dot compatible, 4.25" barrel) and ordered a holster for it the other week. But it occurs to me that they offer a holster for the 9L (5" barrel) as well, and if it fits, I'll probably swap to the bigger one for flexibility's sake. What about 1911s (government vs commander)? I would have thought the barrel plug would be pretty key in holding the pistol in place vertically, but if people remove it or the barrel can be shorter with no issues... I guess not. |

I had to glue a block in the light part of the holster or else my LW champion would wobble something fierce |

Quoted: I had to glue a block in the light part of the holster or else my LW champion would wobble something fierce View Quote I assume if you had a light though (and your pistol supported it), that wouldn't be necessary? I actually sent back the first 1911 holster I got because it was too wobbly; holster supported a light and the pistol didn't. |

I’m getting my new rig together, so far I’ve got the Safariland mounting setup, T-Rex Arms Orion belt in conjunction with BFG cobra belt, 2 Kywi gap 1911 double pouches, and TQ holder. Full ipak on my carrier. Gotta get a dump pouch and AR mag pouch. Any opinions on the T-Rex Mars vs Kywi AR pouch for a single mag?
