I was watching C-span this morning.  A person identified as a media consultant said something like this,  "...because the Democrat party's favor to gun control issues, this man became a hardline Republican.  Which is amazing since most Americans want more gun control.  In fact it is something over 90% in favor of it."

Two things wrong here:
 1.  The "media consultant" is an outright liar.
 2.  No one on the show challenged him.

I for one am challenging that statement.  

I think what he means is Americans want ciminals with guns controlled. I love how they make up these statistics to suit their agenda. The other day on CNN (I know, but I was channel surfing and the story caught my eye) the commentator said " 10 children are killed by guns every day according to gun control advocates." I don't think even HCI is still spouting that BS statistic anymore since it was discovered it included 19 yr. old gang members and other asst. "child criminals" Yet here was CNN stating it like it was fact. For the most part the mainstream media treats us all like we're morons unable to think on our own. The sad part is they're right with alot of the people nowadays.
