EO to be signed where pornography and profanity blasted from car radios are protected, political speech will be protected as long as certain key groups agree with it. On a serious note, actually prosecuting people isn't a priority. Scaring people is--I know if the FBI came to my job and started asking around about me, that would have a chilling effect on my employment, whether or not I was guilty of anything. If they dropped hints I was in any way sympathetic to any bad-think organizations, I imagine I'd be summarily fired. |

With victory within my grasp (I found a guy that will do exactly what I wanted), I think I'm giving up on the idea of making the holster for the p229 legion with the surefire x400u.
Even though I have a bunch of pistols with x300u's -- I'm going to flip the x400u and buy one or two more Olight Baldr Pros. They're about half the price, brighter (1350w vs. 1000...and those aren't just numbers --- they're right in front of me and the Olight is noticeably brighter), the olight has strobe feature which the surefire doesn't, and the olights are much easier to get holsters for these days. As to long term durability on the olight? I do not know. BUT - I'll run a twin on my carbine, so I'll have two if one goes down -- and - like I said, they're half the price. Sigh. Imports. |
