I am looking to buy either a Bushmaster AR in m-4 configuration, or an Olympic Arms AR.  I hear Olympic Arms have a lifetime warrenty.  I prefer a short (16in) barrel, but will the short barrel hurt my accuracy.  Thank you and please be nice as I am now being.  ATF

It looks good, bur I have been told that it doesn't have a crome lined barrel.  With my AK experiences, I have grown to love cromed lined barrel.  Thank you for your prompt response.  ATF

go for the bushie - oly's quality is too spotty for my taste.  the legp carbine is a great deal, as long as you don't reside in calif!

short barrels do not hurt accuracy - bthey effect velocity.

steve
ps: 20" barrels are really what the .223 is all about.

If your heart is set on a chrome lined barrel then you have already decided your choice, go bushy and enjoy.

Tennessee is quite a state, I have been to the Knoxville area several times, and like it alot.

I have a Bushmaster 14.5" M4 w/KKF long brake on it, that I built up on a PWA lower, never had a problem, shoots and balances great.  Ed at Gunsmoke can hook you up if the Bushy is what you choose.  I doubt you will be able to find a better choice if you are looking for a postban carbine.  By the way I handled the LEGP at the Memphis gunshow, and can honestly say if I could buy it without sleeping in the doghouse for a month I would.  It is very well made, and a great price especially if you can afford some of the accessories.  I like the OKO sight, I have one on a carry handle mount from Cavalry Arms, and the tactical carry handle is sweet too.
